We hope the new Board Of Directors will use some if not all the suggestions below. If not, then why become a Board Member is you aren't willing to take and use good suggestions to try and reinstate our subdivision to a first-class rating.
First, distribute to all members our house rules or direct them to them on the web at http://lasterrazas.weebly.com/house-rules.html . The continued abuse of dogs unleashed roaming our streets, and vehicles parking over night on our streets has to stop to make our subdivision safe and worthy of a first-class rating. Allowing such other things as the illegal basket ball court on Almeda Street has to be resolved for us paying dues for an unsecure subdivision.
Second, enforce security. Allowing illegal, amateur for-sale signs in our subdivision further degrades it. For potential new Board Members who don't want to make this a better subdivision and just want the prestige of the title ,please do not run for office. As an example , we have given the suggestion to the current Board to protect our Ma-a Gate and they have totally ignored us. Why give our suggestions to the Board if they're not going to use them?
Third, new construction should be monitored by Board Members making new home owners who plan to build new houses aware of our restrictions so such a thing as an ugly, construction advertising which are not permitted to be displayed.
Last, have a working maintenance committee which can monitor daily the important maintenance of our subdivision. We are paying workers , but they are not being monitored or supervised properly which produces the end-product, an second-rate subdivision. There is no excuse for hanging trees on streets and unkept common areas including sidewalks. The excuse that we don't have the money to keep up the subdivision is false. We have the money!
The suggestions above were given to the Board Of Directors last month and they are have ignored them completely.
